KLIB-Kuala Lumpur International Batik

The theme of the Convention, "The Business of Batik", is intentionally wide, allowing for participation from anyone related to the batik craft and industry including the wider areas of textiles and textile production, fashion and marketing, new technology, new trends in textile decoration, new applications as well as batik art history and craft & heritage preservation.

		CONVENTION: 9th – 10th December 2011 A Convention that will bring speakers and experts from around the world to Kuala Lumpur to share their knowledge and expertise.

		PIALA SERI ENDON: Sunday 11th December 2011 Grand Final: Sunday, 11th DECEMBER 2011 Launched in 2003, the aim of the Piala Seri Endon batik design competition is to provide a platform for Malaysia’s batik making talent. There are now three categories to this competition: Fashion, Soft Furnishing and Handicraft.

		EXHIBITION: 9th – 11th December 2011: This is the first Exhibition of its type focusing on the Batik industry in this region, if not the world.
